1994 Daihatsu Hijet

It's been quite a while since we've had one of these minimalist trucks on the blog. As always, it seems practical and sensible, until you consider how (un)safe it would be in an accident.

A Halloween Treat: 1969 Chevrolet ChevyVan 90

Awesome in so many ways! When I first saw it I immediately thought this was some sort of ex-military vehicle, But I recognized it as a Chev quickly enough. Such a scary look! Strange and menacing. There is no bad angle on this monster. The texture, the character. Formerly orange, like a Halloween candy that's gone bad.

It's too bad I couldn't get a proper picture of the back, what with the 10 foot drop behind it. It's probably not related to the restaurants of the same name.

1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

I only got a few pictures of this rare beast before the owner came out and drove off. I complimented him on the car, which he says is part of a bunch of older pre-SUV type vehicles. Apparently it's originally from Florida, which might explain it's great condition.

I think Wagoneers looked older than they actually were, even back when they were new.

Honourary Old Parked Car: 2001 Pontiac Aztek

Here it is in all it's plastic glory. I always knew an Aztek would appear on this blog. It had to be one with the heavily sculpted grey cladding.

1994 Mitsubishi Bravo Super Exceed

I didn't actually choose this one to contrast with the previous post, but it certainly fits the bill. The numerous details of the front have a surprisingly pleasant effect compared to some other overwrought Mitsubishi products.

I must also admit the the reflections of the church across the street were unintended, but a nice bonus.

1991 Unimog 2150

I'm on really shakey ground with the year and model here. Regardless, it's pretty cool.
So big I could not get a proper profile shot within the alley.
Next post: Something completely diferent.
